The 2014 CLA Urban.
The 2011 E250.
The 2007 S550.

S550 because massive V8.

S550. I'd rather have that than the E class anyways.

Powering the wrong wheels, not that Mercedes Benz buyers would care.

W212. AMG, if I could. I really like the new one too, I see tons of them around the city.
The LED's are the sex.

Why though?

That's a very good reason.

Because I like how it drives compared to the E350.

Indeed.

In this case I'd have to say the S550, because S-class (always wanted one). Though I like both the W212 and W220 better after their respective refreshes. If the second option were a refreshed W212 (preferably with a V8; also especially if wagon) it'd be that.

E250? sm70 cannot into tiny engine.
S550 all the way, repair costs be damned.

I should have picked a larger engine for the E, but the whole exercise of this WWYR was compare the car my dad got to similarly priced but older/newer Mercs.

E. Even with the little engine. For me the size of the E is perfect. Styling is great, I really like the interiors and the whole audio system, which is better than the S in this scenario.

I fully agree.

I drove a pre-facelift W212 across the top of Toronto on Highway 401 in the worst days of the Polar Vortex. It was a Florida car with summer tires and no 4MATIC.
It took me to and from my destination without any dramatics whatsoever. It felt poised and balanced. I felt like I was in complete control, but then I remembered what I was driving. "Nein!" the car seemed to say, "You zink you are in kontrol but ve are ze masters here!"
What a car. The facelift makes it even better. If I had a wife and kids and like $90,000 to spend on a car, the W212 wagon might be what I'd choose. If I had more, the AMG...

"Nein, TC stays on, no matter how many little button you press" They are great cars indeed.

Pretty much. But I was content to let the car do its thing under the circumstances.

S-CLASS FANBOY RIGHT HERE, the W221 was pretty great, but left a lot of room for improvement. The 550 came with a lot of standards but was a little behind the cutting edge, not that I blame them because the 7-series or A8 didn't have that shit either
